Unit 1, God's will and your life
ONE. Gods's will and your life.
--in a nutshell <daily sidebar>
1. As you follow Jesus one day at a time, He will keep you in the center of God’s will.
2. Jesus watched to see where the Father was a work and joined Him.
3. To be a servant of God, you must be moldable and remain in the hand of the Master.
4. You cannot stay the way you are and go with God.
5. God reveals what He is about to do. That revelation becomes an invitation to join Him.

Sunday noon group met for first time (Intro session) on Feb 10. Reasons given to join in: *to discern when God's hand is leading me, *to get to know others in a small setting and be motivated to go through the discussions [impossible on one's own], *personal reconnection with core/basics, *proactively seek God's will instead of presuming to be in charge of one's own life, *gain clues to Experience God.
ReplyDelete<>Doubts or "devil's advocate" questions: (a) after doing the discussions what could be different in each of our lives? [attitude, ability to perceive God at work, knowledge, small group relationships], (b) if "there is nothing new under the sun" then what good is this revised book? [it is not the Sequel to the story of God; instead it is a spotlight that shines on certain aspects and passages of God's Word and the testimony of real life examples].
<>Conclusion: most of the group raised prayer requests for this coming week that each person can work on.
